Curable Ink Reducer – Soft-Flow – For All Plastisol Inks

Curable Ink Reducer — Soft-Flow (PFRE Series) thins plastisol without wrecking it. Most reducers over-thin, kill opacity and compromise the cure. This one is curable — it becomes part of the ink film instead of diluting it.

Add 1–5% by weight. Works with every plastisol we make — standard, low-cure and specialty.

What it actually does

• Thins without over-thinning — better flow and deposit, opacity intact.
• Cure stays put — still cures at 320–330°F. Adhesion and wash durability unaffected.
• Softer hand — smoother, more flexible print without dulling the color.
• Fewer screen clogs — keeps ink open in the mesh, fewer stops to wipe.
• Works with everything — standard, low-cure and specialty plastisols.

Use it for

• Soft-hand fashion prints — less ink buildup, lighter feel on the garment
• Fine line and high detail — crisper edges, cleaner registration
• Large coverage — even spread across a big deposit
• Halftones and multi-color — consistent blending and transitions

How to run it

Mix ratio	1–5% by weight — start low and adjust to the ink
Method	Mix thoroughly until fully blended, then test print before production
Cure	320–330°F (160–165°C) — unchanged from the base ink
Compatible with	All plastisol inks — standard, low-cure and specialty
Storage	65–90°F (18–32°C), sealed, cool and dry
Shelf life	12 months from manufacture

Over-reducing is the most common mistake. Start at 1%, mix, print a test. You can always add more — you cannot take it out.

Formulation

Phthalate-free. Built on a phthalate-free plasticizer system — not an ortho-phthalate chemistry — so it will not reintroduce phthalates into a phthalate-free ink you have already specified.

Handling

• Wear gloves and safety glasses when handling.
• Use in a well-ventilated area.
• Keep containers sealed when not in use to prevent contamination.
• Review the Safety Data Sheet before use.
