Nylon White Plastisol Ink – For Cotton, Polyester, Nylon & Blends

Nylon White Plastisol Ink is our most versatile bleed-resistant white — a high-opacity white that prints on nylon, polyester, 100% cotton and blends, direct or as an underbase, blocking dye migration so it stays clean and bright. On nylon it bonds with the required catalyst. Cures at 290–300°F. CPSIA-compliant and phthalate-free, made in Hackensack, New Jersey.

Pint through 5 gallon. Heat cure. Made in the USA.

⚠ Printing on nylon? Add the catalyst. For nylon, mix in Nylon Bond 289 Additive so the ink bonds to the fabric. On cotton, polyester and blends, no catalyst is needed.

Always run a test print first. Before any production run, print and fully cure a test on your exact garment — for nylon use catalyzed ink and check adhesion with a stretch and wash test, plus opacity and dye migration. It's the best habit in the shop — if you're not sure on settings, call us at 877-937-6400 before you run the job.

What it prints on

• Nylon — jackets, bags, activewear; mix in Nylon Bond 289 for adhesion
• Polyester — bleed-resistant; holds back dye migration (no catalyst)
• 100% cotton & blends — bright white, direct print or underbase (no catalyst)

Printing & curing

• Catalyst: for nylon, add Nylon Bond 289 per its mix ratio; use catalyzed ink within its pot life
• Mesh: 110–160 for maximum opacity; up to 200+ for a lighter deposit
• Squeegee: 65, 75 or 80 durometer — or a 70/90/70 triple durometer
• Flash: 240–260°F when used as an underbase; keep flash low and brief on synthetics
• Cure: curing is a time-and-temperature process — bring the full ink film to 290–300°F (143–149°C); confirm with a temp gun or donut probe, not dryer air temp

Recommended companion products

• Nylon Bond 289 Additive — required for nylon adhesion; mix into the ink before printing.
• Quick Flash Reducer — thins for easier printing.
• Soft Hand Base — softer hand feel.
• Cleanup: OPTI Wash 125 and OPTI Spot 303.

Safety, PPE & storage

• Wear nitrile gloves and safety glasses; avoid prolonged skin contact with uncured ink.
• Print with adequate ventilation; vent your dryer.
• Always stir before use.
• Storage & shelf life: keep sealed, out of sun. Shelf life 1–2 years. In high heat expect container expansion — open carefully. Do not freeze.
• Refer to the Safety Data Sheet before use.

Compliance

CPSIA compliant (16 CFR 1303 <90 ppm; CPSIA §101 <100 ppm total lead) — safe for children's apparel. Phthalate-free.
